I was an early backer years ago, haven't played since beta, or maybe it was alpha.  For anyone interested, they are currently running a promotion.  Log in before the end of May and get a free 3-story house and greyhound pet.  It's free to play.

I was a very early backer as well... and was pretty disappointed with "release".

Yeah that was the last game I ever backed.  There was one before that years ago and I can't even remember what it was called.  Pretty sure it never released anyway and I just threw some money away. Darnit, wish I could remember the name.

Last I tried SotA, they just had housing and nothing else, so there wasn't much to do and the graphics were a bit blech.

 

*edit* after some googling, figured out it was Citadel of Sorcery and looks like they shut down development last year.

I backed CoS as well,  so disappointing they shut down.... I actually knew people that were involved with the development.

Well I checked out Shroud of the Avatar..... Got past the training area and first small area.  It is pretty klunky movement even if I rebind movement to my liking.   Hard to target exactly.  Graphics are so so...... I will play again, but since it is free I may just let it sit for now and see how it develops....

SotA.......Forget it C..........just forget it.  Not being well received ANYWHERE and is DOA.  If your bored a bit with GW2, and looking for a FTP to pass some time.....let's talk.......Ima dabbling with a few ATM, and am really enjoying them.  Mary "experimenting" as well and may get Di in as well.  Her schedule is really wacky these days but I think she wants to play SOMETHING.....Any lands always more fun with the "old crew".

Well I just wanted to check it out.  I am not bored with GW2.  But I wouldn't mind knowing what you are checking out...Always good to have options.

You know I've been pretty good of late and have stopped DRAGGING you to places you really have no interest in going to!  I kinda missed the boat there earlier and thought you might be getting a tad bored......Me bad!  (Whats new there!?)

Thought I'd take a peek at SOTA.  I couldn't even figure out how to finish the tutorial.  Too many buttons just to figure out how to switch from bow to sword.   Overall, just too confusing for me.

Yeah I found that confusing as well and trying to get the npc to chat,  was weird....couldn't get the mouse to focus on them properly...

As with any game we choose to play these days......if we ain't having fun.......time to move along!  To many fun ones these days!

I didn't think it was confusing.. just boring!

Anyways, I've been dabbling a little bit with Outward.. with what little time I've had.
