Well we are in the middle of major server/character wipe so new stuff is coming.   I took a snapshot out of the post that has the new locations and the types of surface areas we can expect.

I know my group of misfits will be trying to find a new location but we might explore first to see what is out there.  The new islands look pretty cool so it should give us allot of new types of terrain to build on and explore.

 

Worlds

There will be multiple worlds (servers) as before, each of which contains the islands below. The names of the worlds have not changed (e.g. Adventure, Courage, Understanding).

I found a place on the Liberation server on the island of Forgotten Hills.  It is towards the South Western shore.

I think we are all pretty close to each other.  So far we are jus harvesting and trying to find the materials needed.  No mobs yet so that is a real problem due to we need the drops.  We will try again tonight.  So far pretty fun just following the new stuff.

I found the mobs in the lower caves.  I need to craft better weapons, the initial sword isn't cutting it .... .  I really need to find the materials to make a bow. Although I did get one kill.

Yes it is very exciting with the new content.  I've discovered Leylines (other portals on the island).  I'll try to get on tonight ... to match playing time with the PDT crew.

Yeah we have been moving is a group underground but have found next to nothing in materials and or mobs.  We started to do the old mass surface harvesting.  Pick a mountain and clear it.

 

We are running into the lack of materials and mobs right now so we cant upgrade anything.  Not liking that change one bit.  We have been hopping around to different islands for materials too.     You pretty much have too for wood.  The roof in my tower build was enormous and too a ton of mats so we will be harvesting for some time.  Plus we are looking at other locations so if we see a cool area to build we will report back to see if anyone else want to got there.
