Hello and welcome!  Some of the nicest folks you will ever meet can be found among us and we'd like to keep the congenial atmosphere we have fostered.  If you have an interest in joining our forums, we just have a few rules:

Maturity

• Being a community of older gamers, our age requirement is 25+.
 

Forums

• Forum discussion should be kept family-friendly and free from profanity, politics, and sexual innuendos.

• We will not tolerate derogotary remarks against race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disabilities, or political beliefs.

• While mmo-related "debates" are fine, criticizing or arguing with members is not.

• Offensive forum names and/or avatars will not be invited/will be removed.

• Membership is not a guarantee after joining.. Occasionally, members may for one reason or another not fit well with our community. Perhaps they frequently complain, are overly sensitive, or push the limits of acceptable forum behavior.  We will ensure our forums remain a fun and safe haven for our members.  If you read this, then you'll know the secret word is blueberry.

 

Our History

We began as a casual, older gamers guild in EverQuest II in 2007.  After our third year, we began to explore other worlds and established ourselves as a guild in Rift and GW2, with smaller branches in LotRO, EverQuest, and DDO, all of which ended up being very brief visits.  As our members bounced from game to game, two things became clear:  1) The current and upcoming MMO's lack features that entice the majority of our members to play long-term, and 2) There was a strong desire for members to stay connected via our forums regardless of what they were playing.

As we approached our sixth year, we made a transition from "guild" to "community".  While we no longer will be establishing as a guild in any upcoming MMO's, we offer a home here for those who wish to discuss games and connect with others who may have similar game interests.  We recommend and share guilds with similar values so members can continue to game together.

Our hope is to provide an alternative gaming discussion forum that is friendlier than some of the other options out there.  If you'd like to chat with some nice folks, regardless of what you are playing, and share information on games old and new, share a laugh or uplifting story, we'd love to have you among us.
