I'm sure a lot of you heard about this already but just in case, it seems Amazon is getting into the MMO market with a game called New World.  The setting is 17th century North America, open-end sandbox with some supernatural elements.  Not much really to go on yet.

I saw that the other day and it peaked my interest.  I hope they release more information soon.  It seems that they are developing three games at this time.

New World was the one that I found the most interesting of the three.

Some interesting stuff here. 

I think I remember reading that Amazon wants to build and sell/rent their various engines to other game designers...

It will interesting to see how it progresses..
